Where were they?

Do you want to see where the soldiers were during a specific time period? One way is to browse through the War Diaries and look at the locations. This is a great option as you can also see what happened with a specific Battalion on those days.

An alternate way is to go to the "Diaries Available" page in the War Diaries section. This page will show you what Diaries have been transcribed, and how many pages are available. Clicking on the entries will display a list of the location of the unit and the weather for each of the days that the diary is available. Of course, the information is only available for the original diary entries that had this available, but a suprising number did.
