Uploader's Research notes: [Private Army Canadian Infantry 34th Battalion D Company Enlisted at London, Ontario. Trained at Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario during the summer of 1915. Sailed from Quebec City, Quebec on October 23, aboard the SS California, landing at Plymouth, england on October 31. Posted to the 23rd Reserve Battalion on November 11, 1915. Private Army Canadian Infantry 23rd Reserve Battalion Posted to the 23rd Reserve Battalion at Bramshott. Later moved to West Sandling. Not eligible for front line service due to his age. Was posted to the 13th Battalion one month after his 19th birthday. Private Army Canadian Infantry 1st Depot Battalion, 1st Quebec Regiment SOS from 13th Battalion to the Quebec Regimental Depot while in Bellahouston Hospital, Glasgow, Scotland. Transferred to Bearwood as a convalescent on September 06. Admitted to Reading War Hospital on September 22 suffering acute abdominal pains. Underwent emergency surgery to repair intestinal blockage caused by scars from wounds. Died of intestinal blockage caused by shell wound at 7:00 am on September 25, 1917. Private Army Canadian Infantry 13th Battalion Joined the 13th Battalion at Poperinghe, Belgium on May 22, 1915. Fought at Mount Sorrel and was wounded, (gunshot wound, eft elbow) during the attack on June 13, 1916. Rejoined the 13th at Ruitz, France in January, 1917. Attached to the 1st Tunnelling Company, Canadian Engineers from February 05 until wounded again, (shell wound, abdomen) on May 02, 1917. SOS to the Quebec Regimental Depot on May 24, 1917 ]
