Uploader's Notes: Son of the late John and Christina McLeod. Native of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.Daniel's parents were originally from Prince Edward Island but had moved to Quincy, Massachusetts so his father could find employment as a granite polisher. The family moved to Hamilton, Ontario in 1898. Daniel's siblings were Alexander and John (Bud) who both also served during the Great War, Catherine (McLeod) Post, Harold who died at age 5 and Harold born the same year as his namesake's death.
