Uploader's Notes: Son of Isaac and Margaret L. Bochel, of Nairn, Scotland; husband of Margaret Bochel, of Burghead, Morayshire, Scotland. CEF Burial Registers - Killed in Action. During the operations at Neuville Vitaase, Sapper Bochel was sitting in a dugout with three of his comrades, when an enemy 5.9 shell made a direct on the dugout, killing the four soldiers instantly. Died with Spr. POTTER , Spr. ROBERTSON and Spr. YEATES .
