Joined the P.P.C.L.I. in August 1914 [an original]. Wounded April 26, 1915. Struck off strength March 22, 1916 ands subsequently became a Lieutenant with the 187th Overseas Battalion.
McMorris' "Officers' Declaration Paper" dated 19 June 1916 at Red Deer, Alberta, gives his present address as in Red Deer. For his "former Military service" it was entered "Sgt. P.P.C.L.I. Aug. 1914 to Apr. 1916".
