Hill 70

10th Battalion Awards

During the Battle for Hill 70, the 10th Battalion had the distinction of being awarded more Military Medals (60) for bravery than any other Battalion during the war. This was in addition to Private Harry Brown winning the Victoria Cross, 3 Distinguished Service Orders, 9 Distinguished Conduct Medals, and 7 Military Cross.
